A Tour of Belmont Shore: Long Beach's Coastal Gem
What does the perfect Southern California Lifestyle look like? Imagine a day at the beach enjoying the sunshine, a vibrant city with a thriving food scene, great places to shop, an abundance of places to walk, an outside lifestyle, shopping, and even fun neighborhood events? Sound like a great way to live? Welcome to Belmont Shore!
If you are moving to LB, visiting or already live here you have to come check out all the happenings in The Shore. Belmont Shore is home to a dynamic and diverse population. With its appealing seaside location and welcoming community atmosphere, it attracts both long-time residents and newcomers alike. The Shore runs from Bayshore Walk to Livingston and from Ocean Blvd. back to The Toledo. Surrounded by other charming neighborhoods, Belmont Shore is a vibrant and historic neighborhood. It has been a thriving community for over a century. Nestled along the Pacific Ocean, this area began to develop in the early 20th century and has since grown into a bustling hub of activity and culture. Today it boasts over 250 businesses, offering a diverse array of services and experiences, from charming boutique shops and gourmet restaurants to various self-care establishments like day spas, exercise studios and meditation retreats.
From “The Shore” enjoy a walk along the four mile stretch of our walking and bike paths that run from the beginning of Belmont Shore to Shoreline Village in downtown Long Beach. Take part in the many activities this lifestyle has to offer: volleyball, kite surfing, paddle boarding, sailing in the ocean, a Gondola cruise through Alamitos Bay, and then back to the Shore for some more shopping and an incredible late lunch or dinner. There are so many different kinds of restaurants, the hardest part is deciding which one to choose. Much of our food scene is influenced by the many cultures that make up our City, from high end dining to hole in the wall joints you can’t go wrong and you won’t leave hungry.
From The Shore there is also a great opportunity to explore a number of different, wonderful and viable communities to call home. These include Naples, The Peninsula, Belmont Park, Alamitos or Belmont Heights, Spinnaker Bay, Bay Harbor, or Bluff Park. Each of these have a different personality and each are very special in their own way. Please see our other videos or blogs for details on these neighborhoods.
